The Great Socialist People's Libyan Arab Jamahiriya and Nicaragua held talks Sunday, morning in Tripoli, attended for the Libyan side by the secretary of the General People's Committee for Manpower, Training and Work and for the Nicaraguan side by the Foreign Minister, Norman Caldera, which focused on cementing and developing relations between the two friendly countries.
The meeting was attended by the assistant secretary for Co-operation at the General Peoples Committee for Foreign Liaison and International Co-operation, secretary of the People's Committee of Foreign Investment Company, a number of head of departments at the General People's Committee for Foreign Liaison and International Co-operation, representative of the Libyan Central Bank and charge d'affairs of the Libyan people's bureau to Nicaragua, and from the Nicaraguan party it was attended by the Deputy Minister of Co-operation, Mario Solto, Director of the African and Asian Department, Joan Markos Karsia, the Minister of the Public Sector, Shester Toqirar and Advisor of the Nicaragua's President, Whohi Pulanos.
