Daniel Ortega, leader of the Sandinista National Liberation Front (FSLN), reiterated his party"s anti-imperialist essence on the occasion of the 71st anniversary of the killing of Nicaraguan patriot Augusto Cesar Sandino.
The FSLN´s secretary general added that the movement founded by Carlos Fonseca Amador in 1962 will never give up its anti-imperialist principles or commitment to the poor.
"To those who say they´re militants of our party, I want to hear them say they condemn Yankee imperialism for its aggressions against Nicaragua and its crimes against Cuba. I want to hear them say they support the Iraqi people", Ortega said before thousands of people gathered in the park of his hometown, 31 miles south of Managua.
