As a schoolchild in Kent, Trevor Thompson never stopped asking questions. His teachers would worry.
"They'd always ask if he needed his hearing checked," his mother, Linda Thompson, remembered.
But Trevor's hearing was just fine — he just couldn't stand to sit quietly in class.
Now, at 22, his eager mind has won him a Rhodes Scholarship, one of three awarded this year to students with Washington ties.
