The U.S. soccer team will play Colombia and Honduras next month to prepare for World Cup qualifiers against Mexico and Guatemala.
The Americans will play Colombia on March 9 at Fullerton, Calif., and Honduras on March 19 at Albuquerque, the U.S. Soccer Federation said Monday.
"Colombia is consistently one of the best teams in South America and will provide a great challenge for our team," U.S. coach Bruce Arena said. "Additionally, we know the match in New Mexico is going to be a critical step for us as we prepare for the high altitude and difficult conditions that await us for our match in Mexico City."
