President Ricardo Maduro said Tuesday he is sending troops to help police quell a clash between loggers and environmentalists in south-central Honduras.

Police spokesman Reno Funez said Maduro was sending soldiers to Olancho province "because the ecologists have been causing problems in the area for four days."
