If Britney Spears fails to respond to a lawsuit, she may be an unintended spokeswoman for diet supplements.
A federal judge has ordered Spears to explain why she has not responded to a lawsuit filed by three companies responsible for the supplement Zantrex-3. The companies say Spears' lawyers threatened to sue for using her image without permission in marketing.
In October 2003, Spears spilled a bottle of Zantrex-3 in a London airport and scrambled to pick up the pills. The British paparazzi were all over the incident.
