The American Music Awards turned into the Usher Show last night, as the R&B sensation swept his four categories, including Top Male Performer in both the rock/pop and soul/rhythm and blues categories.
Outkast went three-for-three, and rocker Sheryl Crow and country music's Toby Keith each won two on the musical variety show that featured performances from Jamie Foxx, Josh Groban and Snoop Dogg.
To meet the broadcast deadline, host Jimmy Kimmel delivered the final awards himself, leaving Usher to sign off. "Again, I want to thank my Lord and Savior for this moment," Usher said.
