Hollywood actor Josh Brolin has been arrested on suspicion of beating his wife of four months, Oscar-nominated movie star Diane Lane, prosecutors said on Monday.

Brolin, the 36-year-old son of actor James Brolin and stepson of Barbra Streisand, was arrested in the couple's Los Angeles home in the early hours of Sunday morning after Lane called police.
