Destiny's Child started out as a duo, changed into a quartet including LaTavia Roberson and LeToya Luckett, and eventually became a trio, with Knowles, Rowland and Williams being the most enduring and famous members of the group. After selling 50 million albums and singles, and having the World Music Awards name them the best-selling pop group ever, Destiny's Child announced on June 12th, 2005, after a show in Barcelona, Spain, that they would be breaking up. The trio was re-united for today's ceremony is Hollywood.
