AKRON -- Authorities say an Akron man and his wife are dead after the man reportedly put his wife into an industrial furnace and then got in himself Saturday night.

The Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office and Akron police are investigating the deaths of 26-year-old Karla Ramos and 36-year-old Jose Webster. The two met in Honduras and moved to Akron 10 years ago.
