Right now, as I am writing this piece, my man Aziatic and Eddie is
terrorizing my sound system that I have some neighbors outside
wondering what's going on inside the "Pentagon" (that's what I call my office, by
the way).
Last night, the staff of Centro America Show, directors of the
Founddation of Garifuna Artists were recording a show that will be broadsted in the Bronx on wednesday. As a guest, I spoke briefly on garinet and some input on the Erika Ramirez issue.
The hosts of the Show, Ms. Veronica Martinez was so cool that
everything was handled perfectly. As a Garifuna, Ms. Martinez, I am proud you have taken such weight in bringing news to our people from the many different
sources you have. (And by the way, I hope your cold won't be severe for your
big school project)
A big hello to Belize, my people in Nicaragua, Guatemala, Germany, of
course, Los Angeles with NURU and Aziatic and Garinagu Empowerment, Garifuna Coalition, Mr. Celeo, Felene, Dr. Arranda, Omar in Boston.
Well, the crowd is getting a bit huge outside, so Aziatic, you're going
to rock, 'bra. And yes, buity lafuru garabali lida weyu le.
