Sundance doles out prizes to top films |

The 2005 Sundance Film Festival announced the winners of its juried prizes - among them Ira Sachs' "Forty Shades of Blue" and Eugene Jerecki's "Why We Fight" - on Saturday night, as well as its audience-voted awards.
Today, the 21st incarnation of the festival - held in Park City and Salt Lake City - closes with screenings of this year's festival favorites.
Sundance remained a bellwether event for American independent films but was also contested territory for arguments about the very meaning of "independence."
