PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. The Air National Guard will lend a hand to help a northern New York group get more than a (m) million dollars in medical equipment to Central America.
The Guard will pack and crate an extensive inventory from the hospital at the long-closed Plattsburgh Air Force Base, near the Canadian border. The supplies will be transported to a U-S seaport for shipment to Nicaragua.
