Ken Spektor, of Druian and Spektor, in Haverstock Hill, is travelling to the village of Cubulco today, where he will work in a surgery that was set up by missionaries 10 years ago.
It will be his sixth visit to the village, which relies solely on Western dentists for treatment.
Mr Spektor, who will spend 10 days in Cubulco, said: "The first time I went there was very overwhelming. People will spend a day walking to the surgery and often have to wait all day to be seen. But they're happy to just wait.
