Thanks to church congregations in south Snohomish County, families in Nicaragua and in other impoverished areas around the world have clean water to drink.
Recently, donations from members of Trinity Lutheran and Edmonds Lutheran churches paid for the construction of a new well in San Ramon, a tiny, impoverished village in the mountains of Nicaragua.
The Rev. William Malespin, the Catholic priest in the village, visited Lynnwood's Trinity Lutheran Church on Sunday to thank them for their generosity.
