John Lynch sent the San Diego Chargers into a painful offseason. The Denver safety, who's from San Diego, keyed a 23-7 Broncos win on Saturday by knocking Drew Brees out of the game with a shoulder injury, then forcing Philip Rivers to fumble in the end zone, resulting in a safety.

Most senior citizens should see their medicine become more affordable because of the new coverage. Still, not everyone will save, and Medicare's 42 million beneficiaries have been patient, if not hesitant, about enrolling in a private plan.

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. - The Detroit Pistons insisted it was merely another game, and one more win. For the Miami Heat, they put more stock into the matchup and found out they will have to improve to knock off the two-time defending Eastern Conference champions. Chauncey Billups scored 30 points, and Richard Hamilton had 25 points and a season-high nine assists Thursday night to lead Detroit past Miami 106-101.
